About Us
Lisa is a nationally certified speech pathologist and accent reduction specialist with 20 years' experience in solving communication issues for children and adults. She started Accentuate Communication because she knows that great communication is vital to a productive life.
She believes in living every day intentionally and thinking through decisions rather than just following the crowd. She is passionate about helping people find creative solutions to life’s challenges. When not chauffeuring her three kids around town, she helps professionals with a foreign accent or regional dialect to reduce their accent and increase the clarity of their speech. She works locally with small groups and around the world with individuals via webcam, teaching them accent reduction techniques to modify their pronunciation and make their English easier to understand.
Lisa has a Bachelor's Degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA and a Master's Degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
